In this project I used the data from the open data page: https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Health/New-York-City-Leading-Causes-of-Death/jb7j-dtam, then showcased it in a nonconventional way.
I wanted this project to have a sense of dark humor, so I incorporated a cartoony style that is almost like the flash websites, and created a narrative for it. The story is about different causes of death as employees while their working achievement in 2019 is being evaluated by their boss, the grim reaper, because I think that focusing on the causes instead of the diseased is more appropriate. I created all the drawings and ps.j5 moving images.
